Well acted, great sci-fi plot, good entertainment value. This movie kept my husband and I engaged. We thought it was well enough written and left no huge gaps in the story that we really paid attention to. The only scene that keeps jumping out in my mind as totally annoying was the guy selling coffee who upped the cost over-night. I just did not like the way that scene was handled. The movie ended well, very satisfying to see the empty vault, so, could there be a clever follow-up plot, because this society has some interesting development potential. Great for a Sociology class assignment for thought and conversation stimulus. We'd like to see more of the matured Mr. Timberlake please. I'm liking the trend in multi- dimensional story lines with Inception and the Adjustment Bureau prior to this. More from Timberlake would be good.

After watching this film twice in two days I can honestly say it is among the most affecting and gripping movies I have ever seen. The use of sound and the wonderful camera work made my hair stand on end. I enjoyed it even more the second time as I was able to make sense of the opening scenes without straining myself, this however is not a criticism; rather it is a testament to the intellect and emotional power of a film where every member of cast and crew excel themselves. Sadness, joy, pain, nostalgia, elation and confusion are just a fraction of the feelings this roller-coaster provokes, and the audience's sheer awe was summed up by the 10 seconds of breathless silence as the screen faded into credits before an eruption of applause broke out.......Astounding.

I honestly don't know why this movie only got 5.6 out of 10. This is the first movie I ever did a review on so you can believe its good. Michael Jai White does his thing in the movie. My favorite scene is when he fights like 6 cops handcuffed. All the UFC and MMA fighters did good acting wise except for one. I can't remember his name but he look like a white king-kong. His acting was horrible but everything else in the movie as far as story line, plot and all else was good. if you like this movie, like it at facebook.com/neverbackdown2 ! Michael Jai White always delivers. I am a big fan of his and love all his movies. I really thought this would be a fail looking at the trailer which SUCKED but the movie was awesome!

This is top notch action meaning that the story/dialogue/acting is whatever but the fight scenes and training scenes are excellent. Seeing the hot young athletes in the cast for The Beatdown inspires me to hit the gym, spar with someone, and make the most of the prime of my life.

this is obviously a vehicle to launch carla and lovi as starlets, having enjoyed mediocre success in their short wholesome careers. people won't see it for the story, which is formulaic and forgettable, but to satisfy their inner urges for the thrill of marital infidelity.

From the very beginning to the dramatic end, the movie is thrilling. There is not a scene in the movie which drags the story and every bit is to a point. His acting is simple, on point and brilliant as usual and this is one of the best smuggling films i would add to, after Italian job and various others make to a good list. The fact that it brings family, friendship, love, hate, betrayal and the usual bad guy in the film may make it sound all ordinary as most of the films have almost the same characters these days, but the reason i would ask you guys to watch this film is because the touch it has unlike most of them out these days.I don't think timing is any bit of a problem in this movie and the way in which the scenes unfold is what i think keep you at the edge of your seat through the movie. Anywhoo, A must watch! I loved it personally.

This film shows all the sordid twists in this tale with surprisingly interesting segments featuring Joran's parents and survivors of poor Stephany, Joran's final victim. (The Peruvian girl's death seemed as senseless as Natalee's and what makes Joran tick remains a mystery in this film.) Sometimes that's the way life is. This is an excellent production.

It was originally planned that Postlethwaite would have a larger role, but when director Nick Hamm saw how ill he was, he wrote him "a new role that allowed them to film around his physical needs and abilities... a very funny, ridiculous part". Three months later Postlethwaite came in to do voice work on the film. Hamm later commented: "It was very apparent when I saw him at that moment that there was no way that this guy was ever going to go on screen or stage again."

I really enjoyed this movie. I have to admit, I initially had NO interest in the story, and only set out to see it to check out Ben Barnes' latest project. But within 10 minutes I forgot about watching "the lovely Mr. Barnes" (which he is not, in this movie) and was genuinely captivated by and became engaged in the story, the characters and the humor. I'd seen clips and responded with a yawn; thought the comedy portrayed in them was obvious and heavy-handed. But the trailer doesn't do it justice. The laughs were real and unexpected and the dialogue quick, natural and enjoyable. All of the supporting characters were excellent. Robert Sheehan, whom I'd never seen in anything prior, did a good job and Barnes disappears into and owns his character. All in all a fun watch, I'd recommend it.

I really wasn't expecting much from "Killing Bono", but it's a nice surprise: very well made with terrific acting! The music is terrific, too. Sure, they could have left out use of the tobacco drug and still had a great movie, but besides that flaw, I'd recommend this hidden gem to nearly anyone over 18. And even if you'd never heard of U2, it would STILL work.
